Online Shops That Ships To Saudi Arabia!

I know shopping is the most favorite past time of ladies in Saudi Arabia but for me i am a bargain hunter and i practically stalk online clothing stores, i monitor their sales and offers as if my life depended on it.So when i see a dress in i.e Newlook store in Saudi, i will quickly check if it is available online and for how much, if it is cheaper then i order it online.
Without further ado, i present to you online stores that ships to Saudi Arabia, starting with the ones that i have experience down to the ones i will experience.

1. ASOS

Asos.com is a leading UK online fashion retail store with many branded as well as its own labels. The best thing about this online store is the fact that it offers free worldwide shipping on any item.Shipping to Saudi Arabia typically takes 10 to 14 days (based on experience) to get to Saudi.Once you place your order, it is usually dispatched within two working days.Another thing i like about them is the prompt response of their customer service be it on the website  or their facebook page. There are also tons of fashionable stuffs at  good bargains.I strongly recommend!

2. NEWLOOK
Newlook is one of the most well-recognized fashion brands in the UK, with high spontaneous brand awareness.I love this store because of the variety of clothing items you always find online, this coupled with the fact that they always have sales going on.This online store offers free shipping to Saudi Arabia when you buy stuffs worth £55 or more, if your order is less than this, you pay £9 for shipping. Based on my experience with them, shipping time is about three weeks to Saudi and your order can not be tracked, even by them.I did not really like my experience with their Customer service but i will still recommend the store because of their clothing.

3. MARKS & SPENCER
Marks & Spencer is one of the UK's leading retailers offering stylish, high quality, great value clothing and home products, as well as outstanding quality food, responsibly sourced from around 2,000 suppliers globally(That was copy and pasted from their website by the way). Anyways, who does not know M&S? So, their shipping method to Saudi Arabia is little bit tricky, meaning, you need someone that lives in UK to go to any store that is listed on their website as capable of offering this service, and place the order for it to be delivered to Saudi. This costs £15 for the first 12 items in your order.Your order will have a Royal Mail tracking number and their customer service is excellent.

4. M&CO
Mandco is one of the largest, privately-owned fashion retailers in the UK and has been selling quality clothing for 50 years. They currently offer free shipping to Saudi Arabia on any order amount.Shipping usually takes about 14 days to get to Saudi, customer service is great, i was recently given a 20% off discount code on sales item plus free shipping due to an expired code that was attached to a previous order. Great huh!

5. YOURSCLOTHING
Yoursclothing is an online clothing store that caters to plus-size women, they offer tons of fashionable clothing, lingerie and accessories at affordable prices.First timers get a 10% off discount when you quote JUSTARRIVED at checkout. They offer shipping to Saudi Arabia £10 for the first 10 items.Unfortunately, i placed my order during the last eid when Saudis were on break and my order was never delivered.I was refunded promptly and customer service was very helpful.
Update: I later discovered that the order was delivered to another person who completely forgot about it and remembered like 2 months later.

STAY TUNED FOR OTHER ONLINE STORES....Happy Shopping!

Eid Mubaraq!

Hi, i will like to wish everyone in Nigeria, Saudi and the whole world a wonderful and splendid Eid. Normally on Eid, we cook a feast but for some reason, this time around, i did not feel like doing a lot of cooking.
A quick recap of the day, studied all night then prayed fajr, started cooking, finished cooking, watched John Q on MBC4, Mr came back from night duty at the Hospital informed me that he's on duty again at 3pm, served his food, took the ice cream he bought for me, the whole family slept, was woken up by a call from Nigeria(bro in law wanted to skype). Spoke to Mr's family on Skype, got dressed to take family pictures, Mr left for work and I am here right using my social media hour before i start studying again. How was your Eid?
I leave you with pictures of me and my family!

New Beginning!

It's a new beginning for my blog. From now on my blog will be random, meaning i will write about anything that comes to my mind as a Nigerian living in Saudi. I will try to identify the similarities/differences between the two countries. For example being a wife, raising a child and other aspects of my life.
Basically, my journey as a new mom living in a new country will be documented here.

THE PAST THREE MONTHS!!!

I have been away from this blog for the past 3 months and a lot of things has happened,in June, we visited Nigeria where Zahir got to meet all his family members for the first time, we also attended my bro-in-law's wedding ceremony and I was supposed to write my Chartered Secretary's qualification exams
(which I missed). We had lots of fun and we were spoilt silly by everyone. We came back to Saudi Arabia a day before ramadan started, we also met a lovely Nigerian family with whom we have become quite close, we ve visited them twice and they also came over to visit and brought us some Nigerian foods that I thought we couldn't find here.
Zahir recently turned 6 month on the 3rd of september and that made me realize how fast he is growing up and how slow I was in updating this blog so I decided to make a quick post about his recent achievements. So here we go:
He can now say babababa which you keep saying over and over again
He can roll over both ways
He just recently discovered your toes
He scoot backwards instead of crawling forward
He just started his own little adult food( which he totally hates)
And a lot of other things
Also, he loves watching Tom n Jerry and being read to.
He loves being held by his daddy
He loves when we hang out with other people.
These are stuffs that my blogger blocked brain can come up with for now.
PS: I had to take down the pictures from my blog because of some issues with some bloggers using other people contents without permission, since most of my pictures are personal and they are not signed,I decided to remove them not use pictures again

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

So this year, my humble self, joined the league of mothers and it sure feels great to know that very soon Zahir will open his mouth and call me 'mummy'.
Dear Zahir, now you recognize me, my face, my smell and my voice and it gives me so much joy when I see the happiness on your face anytime you see me( even if it is "my milk factory is here" that is going through  your mind)

Yesterday you turned around, from your stomach to your back, for the first time. All these your firsts i.e first smile, first turning around, first laughing out loud just proves to me that I am doing things right as a mother.
Thanks for making me experience this journey called motherhood through you because now I sure love, respect and appreciate my own mother more.
I pray that we get to celebrate many more years of mother's day together eventhough, a mother should be celebrated everyday.
I love u my dearest lil Bubba!!!

To my mum, thanks for being you and loving me unconditionally.
To all other mums out there, keep doing the world's greatest job!!!
